The way I tested my machine was I took a spring scale.  What I did with the spring scale was take the lever that is on top of the machine and hooked the hook that is on the spring scale and pulled it.  When I pulled it it lifts the bowl and measures how many newtons it takes to lift the bowl with the food in it. 

This time i did the same thing, hooked the spring scale up to the lever. The reason i tested again was cause scienctest usally check thier work cause it is not always the same.
